“The Wedding Guest: An Alex Delaware Novel” is a great novel with the perfect story. Jonathan Kellerman is the author of this novel. In this psychological mystery, psychologist Alex Delaware, detective Milo Sturgis unravel a shocking crime that took place at a raucous Los Angeles wedding reception held in a dirty rundown former strip joint. It deals with the garroted murder of a nameless woman in a red dress found in a foul latrine at the wedding party.

Trying to identify the dead girl found in a bathroom at an edgy wedding reception takes most of this novel. The search is absorbing. The head detective Milo Sturgis and LAPD consultant Dr Alex Delaware grasp at straws, but the straws sometimes lead in surprising directions. The plot is full of characters unpleasantly forceful or pathetically passive, with a scattering of normals. Character sketches are a strong point of the narrative.
