“The Search” is an excellent book as always-a great romance, some intrigue, and an awesome story. Nora Roberts is the author of this attractive novel. This is an outstanding story about Search and Rescue Dogs, and how they are trained. Fiona is the survivor of a killer. She got away from him and for revenge the killer killed her fiance and his dog. She has her own company now. She also trains dogs for search and rescue. She has three dogs of her own that she uses. Her killer has an apprentice. He is out there killing women and leaving red scarves around their necks. The killer leaves one on Fiona’s mailbox. He will be coming to finish the job for the killer that Fiona put in jail.

Fiona also has a neighbor that has a puppy that he can’t seem to control. He asks Fiona to help him train him. She agrees and that starts a relationship between the two of them. The FBI asks Fiona to go and talk with her abductor. He will only talk to her. She agrees. She goes to see her abductor and shows him he has no power when it comes to her any more. She has moved on and he can’t hurt her. Need to read the story to find out what happens when the apprentice comes looking for her and what happens between her and Simon. Will she have a lasting relationship or will her abductor win in the end. Great story.
