This is a fascinating book written by prominent Yale-trained psychiatrist Dr. Brian Weiss detailing how he began to do past life regressions. He was very skeptical about the whole idea of past life regressions, and still have no sure explanation for them, but knows that this phenomenon does exist, and that the process he uses has helped many patients. His account of what was going on his mind as he accidentally regressed his first patient, Catherine, is very interesting, whether or not you believe in reincarnation.

Many Lives, Many Masters clearly explains, for open-minded, life learners, why we are all inter-connected. Why we are placed in this plane of existence. To learn life lessons, painful or not. And to reduce, or eliminate karmic debt. It gives clear and comprehensive reasons why our actions, or inaction’s, matter. Dr. Brian Weiss, MD’s writing style is impressive. As a prominent psychiatrist, he does not use psychiatric psycho-babble, but clear, down-to-earth, comprehensive, lovely to read, synopsis’ of hypnotic regression of a patient. She starts therapy in distress, and when conventional therapy doesn’t produce results, she is cured by discovering her contentedness to life, and others, via Past Lives. The patient enriches her own life, and produces tremendous learning capacity, insight, into the psychiatrist’s life, as well. Overall, this is an excellent book for anyone even slightly interested in the possibility of past lives.
