Ceci started her career as an oncology nurse at the NIH, and eventually became a medical writer and regulatory affairs specialist in the pharmaceutical industry. The hero of this novel is Lucas Grant and his clan is in dire financial straits. This story of the two youngest (of marriageable age) of each feuding family and how they meet, fall in love, and defend the other was very good.
Ceci writes her stories so very well. This one won’t disappoint you at all. You will visit with older characters and be introduced to new ones. This book can stand on its own but will get a better perspective of characters if you read the previous “A Duncurra Legacy” series. This story just sucked me right in as all Ceci’s Novels do. The characters are very appealing and their chemistry is undeniable.
