Description of Unfreedom of the Press by Mark R. Levin ePub

“Unfreedom of the Press” is an amazing book for anyone interested in today’s relationship between the media and politics. Mark R. Levin is the author of this impressive book. Mark Levin brilliantly catalogs the battles against fake news in a must-read great book enjoyably disrobing the grey lady, the New York Times, revealing all her warts and wrinkles. This book is fascinating, enlightening, entertaining, and very easy to read. Unfreedom is a Great Book! A wonderful, concise, well documented read about one of his great concerns with our present-day culture what are we to become? Mark has provided us with a text that is both scholarly and a relatively easy read. Mark levin expertly illustrates how important the press was in shaping early America and what lead to the revolutionary war, a fight for liberty, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness. The current media making claims that president trump is attacking freedom of the press and abusing power, colluding with Russia while ignoring abuses by deep state actors to destroy his presidency and remove him from office, mark provides a history lesson of real abuses of power by previous democrat administrations and real collusion in previous campaigns, and other transgressions that the media in those days turned a blind eye. In the end and despite grumbling from media folk that they are under attack, it is the media who is destroying the freedom of the press. Mark points out that a free press is important in preserving our constitutional republic. Current media isn’t preserving freedom.

Unfreedom of the Press by Mark R. Levin

In this book, Mark Levin focuses on the Main Stream Media and their bias over the years. He provides numerous examples and shows through those examples that the bias started almost 60 years ago during the Kennedy Presidency. During his presidency, and that of Johnson and Obama, the media essentially looked the other way, and didn’t actively pursue stories on them, although there were many examples. For example, Kennedy’s numerous affairs with women, including an East German spy and a 19-year intern, who lost his virginity to Kennedy. The scandals of the Obama administration are well known to anyone who isn’t biased, but the media again looked the other way. The IRS scandal was one that is covered in this book. However, when Trump all of the restraints came off and in fact, the media went the other way, making up stories in order to get viewers or sell papers. As Mark Levin clearly lays out with quotes from the media this was done because of the media’s animus towards Trump. They don’t like him and they want to see him fail and will do whatever they can to help that along. If you thought the media was biased against Trump, this book will confirm that with examples. If you are unsure of that but want to learn more, must-read then this book. As Mark Levin states, fair and unbiased media is important to our democracy. We highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about the history and current state of affairs of our media/press in the United States.
