The “An Outline of Esoteric Science” is an excellent yet challenging book for the student of Anthroposophy. Rudolf Steiner is the author of this book. This book could be an excellent start for someone who would like to study the occult and tread the long path of contemporary Science of the Spirit, namely Anthroposophy. It is a difficult but fascinating introduction to human development from the Akashi Record. After introducing the occult, Steiner delves into explaining the two worlds he thought comprised the reality we live in. The natural world, that which is visible and readily perceivable around us, and the spiritual world, where the unexplained phenomena arise. The nature of man as a bodily being, and how his physical self bridges the gap between these two worlds, is much detailed.
Though with any book Steiner wrote, it is a very tough read and takes quite a while to get into it. His writing style is an old style that most may not follow the flow of, but it is good if you can persevere. If you are looking for a book which gets into Theosophy and other occult topics outside of Blavatsky, then this may be for you.
