It is a bit of departure for AR, in that the focus shifted away from the super hot romance scenes and focused a bit more on the characters.

It is a cute and steamy insta love story although it could’ve been a bit longer regarding the interaction between the 2 main characters since there wasn’t much time spent in each other’s direct company. All the characters and the storyline are so swoony and sweet. It was also different than the usual Alexa Riley book because there is a bit of a cliffhanger at the end. It’s sugary sweet a perfect quick read for the holiday. This book is so steamy, so well written, with a storyline that is a little different from most boss secretary romances. To cut the story short, it is one of the best and interesting romance books.
