At a certain point, after things are mostly resolved, a certain issue comes up, and to be honest, readers put the book down, thinking “Oh god no, it’s just going to be another cringe-inducing stupid fight, or misunderstanding, like in every other HR book”. However, it was treated amazingly, with each character staying true to itself, and with each being honest and eloquent. It actually moved the plot further and did not stick out like a sore formulaic thumb.
