This is a brilliant book that is fast paced and keeps you engaged and the story is modern and very interesting. The technology in this book is so fantastic and confusing. Interesting concept of brain technology is discussed in this book. This is a very probable vision of what could, and most likely WILL, come to pass in the near future. The author has become poised to be the new William Gibson. His stories indicate a grasp of how this new technology can benefit the world in general, and unfortunately the military and intelligence industries even more.

This is a good book series, as long as you don’t take it too seriously. Great scenes, good characters, good mix of action and social scenes, and consequences affect the characters later. There is also reasonable development of the world and the people in it. If you’re into thrills and adventure, this is a great read. The suspense throughout the book of whether or not they will survive and save Mike’s mom provides a great feeling. Overall, this book is a great balance between science fiction and real life.
