The “Friends Like These” is a great book about friendships of all different types. It is all about how true friends come into your life accidentally and become your life. Sarah Alderson is the author of this book. This is a great story with wonderful characters if you’re looking for a feel-good book with some interesting nuances, this is the book for you. Marie works as a travel agent & coworker Ann. Marie who works a lot. Her Mom is eccentric and tends to drive her crazy. Her best friend is Grace who has gotten engaged to James & they’re moving from the UK to New York City. Marie decides she needs new friends. Ann gave her an ad for speed dating at a hotel. She decides to go. The young man at the front desk lies to her to go to the first door on the left at the top of the stairs. Turns out to be a weird type weight loss group.

She decides she’s not staying & causes a scene. Some of the group leaves with her, Sophie, Linda & Jake. They end up at Marie’s home. They like Marie & decide to meet there every Thursday evening. Marie thinks she’s being stalked by Brian. She calls the police as he’s on her doorstep. But she finds out he was asked by Grace & James to keep track of her that she is okay. She meets Sebastian Feather-stone her best travel agency customer who decides to see what it’s like to be a friend to as he’s rich. In short, a great book to read it made you think back on all the great times you had with family and friends.
